FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Is it safe?
Safety is always our number one priority. Students will wear a safety belt and will be attached to our equipment from the moment their feet leave the ground at the ladder. Our team has many hours of training and experience and under our supervision, flying trapeze is as safe as any recreational activity or sport you may engage in!
  • How do I sign-up for my first class?
All classes can be booked via our website using our online booking system.
  • I've never done anything like this before. Is it OK?
Of course. Even the greatest was once a beginner. Don't be afraid to take that first step.
  • What if it rains?
Unfortunately for your safety, we are unable to operate under wet conditions. Classes are subject to cancellation at the instructors discretion. Should we decide to cancel class in advance, we will contact you at least an hour before the scheduled class time at the phone number provided on the booking. Please assume the class is going ahead if you do not hear from us as we will always try our best to run class - but we're not meteorologists! In the event of a full cancellation, we will provide a class credit to allow you to rebook your class at your convenience. If we run at least an hour of class, you will be given a voucher for 50% off your next class. If we run 1.5hr of class or more, we will not be able to provide a refund.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel a booking up to a week before your class for a full refund. You may reschedule a class up to 72hours in advance. Past 72 hours we are unable to offer rescheduling or a refund. If classes get cancelled due to low registration, we will let you know 24 hours before the start of class.
  • What should I wear?
Comfortable, form-fitting athletic attire. Clothes that protect the backs of your knees would be suitable for your first class. Long hair should be tied back and all jewellery must be removed.
  • How much is a lesson?
Our classes are $75 for a 2 hour class. Prices for private bookings, birthday parties and other special classes are available on request. Email us at info@wahootrapeze.com to see how we can cater to your needs.
  • How many people are in a class?
Our maximum class size is 10 people.
  • Is there an age/weight limit?
The weight limit is 250lb. For safety reasons, this is contingent on the safety belt fitting correctly regardless of your weight. Children 6 and up are welcome at Wahoo Trapeze - but again, the safety belt needs to fit correctly regardless of their age.
  • How long are classes?
Classes are typically 2 hours long. For safety reasons, instructors reserve the right to end classes early as risk of fatigue related incidents increase.
  • How many spaces can I book in a single class?
You can book a maximum of 6 spots in one class. If you require 7 or more spaces, you are required to book a private class this prevents the class from being dominated by one group and allows the lesson to have a more fun, inclusive atmosphere that we thrive to achieve.
  • Can I schedule a private class?
Yes! Private classes are a great way to get specific 1-on-1 coaching for yourself or small groups. A private class is also required if you would like to book a class for 7 people or more. We are also happy to accommodate for all - bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate team-building events, or field trips. Contact us at info@wahootrapeze.com to discuss your needs.
  • Do you do kids parties?
Yes we do! Contact us at info@wahootrapeze.com for more info.
  • When should I arrive for class?
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of class. This will give us enough time to check waivers and for you to put your bags down and get ready. Please sign our online waiver before class.
  • Can I come and watch?
Come one come all to see the daring young person on the flying trapeze... We welcome friends and family to come watch and capture on film as you flip, twist and fly through the air with the greatest of ease!
  • What are your health and safety policies?
Wahoo Trapeze thrives to make flying trapeze accessible to as many people as possible. If you have a disability, please contact us at info@wahootrapeze.com and we can work with you to see if it is possible to adapt the class to suit your access requirements. Similarly, if you have preexisting injury, please contact us to discuss if flying trapeze is right for you. We don't want to kill your flying trapeze career before it even takes off!
  • When will classes go on sale?
